Located at 787 Lorne
Round Two Fitness is 1 part garage, 1 part yoga studio, 1 part gym
And Now FULLY ONLINE!!

And all about Bella...our amazing gym puppy.

In my biased opinion, this is one of the most unique training spaces in the city.  Tucked off the main road, so it's private, but with massive windowed garage doors, so you have tons of natural light.  There are days when I coach in my sunglasses.  And when the weather is warm the doors open and we have the ability to do indoor/outdoor workouts.

Because we don't have "memberships" each class you attend is private, in the sense that you are not being watched by the rest of the members of a gym.  This is a huge benefit for our specialty Momma and Me classes.  You will not feel like baby is interrupting the workouts of others and your baby will not be escaping into the rest of the gym space.

The space was once a mechanic's shop, so it truly has that "home garage workout" feel.  It's about 1000 sq feet of space, but we still keep class sizes small.   And with showers fully stocked with toiletries and towels, you can get ready for your day after our AM class or freshen up for your afternoon after our lunch classes.

Round Two Fitness is also the home of Agatsu Sudbury, which you can read more about here.

For program specific information please navigate to our Momma and Me page, or our Group Classes & Yoga page.  Personal training (private and semi-private) information is at the bottom of this page.  And if you still have questions contact Coach Michelle to set up a tour and intro!

Available to Rent!

The space at 787 Lorne Street is also available for rent.  If you are a personal trainer looking for a spot to train your clients, this truly is an incredible way to make a good wage doing what you love.  You charge your clients an hourly rate, carry your own insurance, collect payment directly from your clients.  You pay rent to Round Two Fitness each month based on the number of hours you have used the space.  Instead of making $25 an hour at a gym, you'll be making $50+ an hour!

The catch:  you can only use the space when there are no classes happening at Round Two Fitness.  You may be sharing the space with other trainers, exclusive use is available at an increased fee.

If you are not a trainer, or want to hold classes and workshops contact Round Two Fitness to see if exclusive use is a good fit for both our businesses.

How to Return to Fitness

I tend to appeal to women who, for whatever reason, need to move from "unfit" to "fit".  That may be a mom getting into shape after a baby, or a woman who hasn't been physically fit since childhood.  The online support group I turned to post -loss had a focus on fitness as a form of healing. And I knew that to heal mentally and spiritually I needed to up the self care. My Round One fitness was always extreme and somehow I convinced myself that if I couldn't do all that I could before there was no point. Then my mindset changed. And with small changes daily I created a balanced approach to self care that included heaps of good whole foods and movement throughout the day. By focusing on being STRONGER instead of some number on a scale or tape measure I regained my fitness. Physically and mentally. People comment all the time on how "good" I look. And my reply is always the same - I wish you could see how I FEEL!!

Find what works

I have been helping people out on the road to fitness, informally, from time to time and am now a Certified Personal Training Specialist, Agatsu Level 1 Certified Kettlebell Coach, CYA-200 Yoga Instructor and Certified Healthy Eating Coach. Easily what I get asked most often is "how do you do it, how do you find the time?" First, I don't find the time, I make the time. And my best advice has always been to find something that works for you! Don't like going to a gym? Don't!! Don't like early mornings? Find another time of day that you do like - and can make work for you!

I have a chat with each client approaching Round Two Fitness to see if this training space and my class structure will work for their life.  If it won't, I will be super honest and tell you that.  And I will gladly and happily refer you elsewhere.  My goal is to see each person I touch succeed, and if what I have to offer isn't the right solution, I'm not going to take your money and turn the other way.

Support is key!

To lead a healthy lifestyle can be very lonely these days. And if you are fighting your way to fitness mentally or physically having a support network at home and socially is absolutely necessary. My kids were behind me 100%, but I also needed my badass tribe of women. I found them online and we are there for each other through the good and bad parts of the journey. This is why I create and monitor an online coaching board for all my clients.  It's amazing. A year into my round two fitness journey I completed my first of many Spartan Races with a fellow suicide widow I met online. One of my top 10 life experiences, physically and emotionally challenging my fitness. You can't beat that.
